On April 22, Shotaro Tomita, President of Hokusei Products, met with the King Carl XVI Gustaf and Queen Silvia of Sweden in Tokyo. The Royal Swedish couple visited Japan to celebrate 150 years of diplomatic relations between the two countries.n 20110, Hokusei established Hokusei Europe AB in Stockholm. Since then, the company has been promoting and exporting Swedish-made products, such as traffic reflectors, winter boots, and environmentally friendly trays to the Japanese market.
The Embassy of Sweden in Tokyo held an exhibition to demonstrate Swedish products and they invited Hokusei.
President Tomita met with the king and queen in recognition of Hokusei’s business activities in Sweden.
It was an honor to meet the royal couple, and Hokusei looks forward to helping build continued warm relations between Sweden and Japan.
